Tomorrow, Bus Stop Vintage have arranged an extra date for your shopping pleasure! It’s at the usual venue, St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury town centre, opposite Vinegar Hill, from 10am-4pm. As usual, there are lots of lovely vintage sellers, plus an array of crafty handmade stalls, just perfect for browsing for Easter gifts. Do come, it’ll be lovely! Shop, meet your friends, drink tea, eat cake and pray for Spring to arrive!

Just a quick reminder folks! Vintage Escapades starts again tomorrow! It’s the first fair of the year and Lexy has gathered together a spiffing line up of sellers and makers (why not check out Vintage Escapades on Facebook, to keep up with all the dates and goings on?). With Valentine’s Day edging closer, the theme, of course, is love…and I have more pink than usual for sale, and red too. It’s all hearts, birdies and flowers. It’s Jubilee Time at Woore!

It’s come around so quickly. This Sunday I’m back at Woore Victory Hall in Cheshire for Lexy’s Vintage and Handmade Fair. A grand Jubilee affair this month, with extra treats….the splendid tearoom, of course, lots of lovely vintage, some amazing crafty sellers plus a vintage ice cream van! And, hotly anticipated, there’s only a DOG SHOW! For cutest dog my money is on Teddy the puppy, a regular attendee of Lexy’s vintage fair, who without fail causes grown men and women to swoon over his immeasurably charming fluffy features. I’m thinking of entering foxy here….We’ve been training all week and are feeling confident in both agility and obedience. See how we get on, this Sunday 10am-4pm!
Vintage Escapades!
Lexy’s Vintage Fair on Sunday 26th February, at Woore Victory Hall, has an Alice in Wonderland theme! Splendid. I’m going to try and make some Alice themed things for it. Let’s hope my sewing machine can be fixed soon….It stopped working today and I feel rather bereft without it. It’s going in to be looked at tomorrow. So, in the meantime, I’m catching up with some dreaded admin. Yeuch. And adding a few things into my Etsy shop…such as this pretty little pincushion. Check it out via the Etsy Mini!

Here’s what I’ve been making
I’ve had some lovely new fabrics in, so thought I would share some of the things I’ve made with it. I especially like the purple flowery cotton on the wrist cuff and one of the phone pouches; it’s so rich and ever so pretty. Pictured here are cuffs, a pincushion and a couple of my eternally popular phone pouches. All of these and more will be for sale at the next Made in Shropshire Fair in the Square, in Shrewsbury next Saturday the 11th June!
